Eliza Lucas Pinckney was born in 1722 in Antigua and she died in Philadelphia in 1793.
When Eliza was in school her favorite subject was botany.
At the age of sixteen, when her father went to his job which was army officer, she took over the plantation.
She was a very important agriculturalist is South Carolina because she grew 130,000 pounds of indigo.
At the age of twenty two she married a man named Charles Pinckney. Five years later she had four children.
Later when she was running the plantation or crops, she taught her sister how to take care of them.
She became very popular because she began growing lots of indigo.

This is where Eliza L. Pinckney grew up in, until 16 years old.
Thomas Jefferson was born in 1743.
He went to college and became a lawyer.
He was the governer of Virginia during the revolution.
He became the President of the United states in 1800.
He started The Committee of Correspondence.
The Committee got all of the colonies merchandise.
He is on the nickel.

In 1542 Hernando De Soto died on the bank of Mississippi River.

He was born in a kingdom.
He unslaved other English men and women.
He never saw his family again.
He was one the youngest children in the kingdom.
Most of the time he missed her sister because she got kidnapped.
